Day Trading Business
Start-Up Costs
You've heard it said before.
You need money to make money.
The question for traders is—how much money?
Let's compare what it would cost to start any new business with what it costs to develop your day trading business with us.

Small Business Start up Costs
Developing any new business (not a day trading business) costs a minimum of $200,000 for - planning, legal, accounting, staffing, education, training, space purchase or lease, inventory and equipment, and so on. You can add to that any franchise costs that may be involved.
Then usually another $50,000 or so for market research, marketing, and sales programs - on and off line. Implementation takes time — for most businesses, years - to gain image/brand recognition, reach breakeven cash flow, and then, if you are one of the lucky few business owners, attain levels of profitability you planned for from the beginning.
Let's rely on cost from $300K -800K for typical business start up costs - to become break-even, then financially successful, that is, to earn CEO level income, hundreds of thousands a year.
Time estimates?
Let's use a minimum of 1 to 2 years. Most new businesses take longer.
Keep in mind, most business go belly up, fail, during that time.
Traditional Business is Risky Business.

Day Trading Start up Costs
Let's take a look at starting your own day trading business.
As you will likely be trading from your home, you guessed right, your costs will be a fraction of what it takes to start any other business.
You will need little, if any, legal, accounting, staffing, office acquisition costs.
Nor will your business require much in the way of planning - rather, you will NEED: day trading Strateties, day trading System, trading tactics, and unique Trade Execution skills - to become a consistently profitable Winner.
Here's the good part: no employees, no travel or commutes, no collections, no marketing, no sales, and get this, no meetings and no bad debts.
In sharp contrast to traditional small business development costs, your day trading business development program will cost (or has already cost you for education materials, seminars, attending trading Expos around the country, and overall your time and losses ) about $30K to $100K and more - depending on: your level of risk capital, the financial instrument(s) you trade, the day trading strategies you use, that is, old or new school strategies; your level of day trader competence; and whether you trade with or without a coach.
Also, let's not forget your computer and the issue of latency, (order transmit time). You need the best feed (ISP), computer and software to compete with both big and small money day traders, globally.
These costs exclude trading capital, of course.
For stock day traders the IRS requires a minimum trading account of $25,000 - I recomment a minimum of $50,000 trading account, however for optimal buying power we suggest $100,000, minimum.
Here's the trap, here's the dilemma for all want-to-be-successful traders - seeking profitability.
"OK, John, how can I be Successful - Day Trading Stock?"
